The NYCC attended this conference which focused on the 110 year history of the New York State Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and its abiding concern for providing all possible opportunities for every child to succeed. This concern was reflected in the historical and current displays and in the remarks to the plenary audience by the New York State Education Commissioner.
