As part of the New England and New York Comprehensive Centers’ Virtual Education Initiative, the University of Florida’s Dr. Cathy Cavanaugh was invited to discuss the importance of online teacher evaluation in virtual education programs. Dr. Cavanaugh discussed the need for the development of comprehensive evaluation programs for all teachers, inclusive of online teachers. This webinar focused on national value-added teacher evaluation models, quality K-12 online teaching practices and indicators, the evaluation of online teachers, and policy recommendations for states.
