Regional Comprehensive Centers

Regional Centers provide frontline assistance to states to help them implement NCLB and related federal school improvement programs and increase state capacity to assist districts and schools meet their student achievement goals. Regional Centers are responsible for developing strong relationships and partnerships within their region. While Content Centers focus almost entirely on specific content areas, analyzing research, developing useful products and tools for Regional Centers, the Regional Centers focus on providing technical assistance to states, using Content Center research and materials to inform their work.

Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center
The Appalachia Regional Comprehensive Center (ARCC) serves the states of Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

California Comprehensive Center
The California Comprehensive Center (CA CC) serves the state of California.

Florida and the Islands Regional Comprehensive Center
The Florida and the Islands Regional Comprehensive Center serves the state of Florida, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

Great Lakes East Comprehensive Assistance Center
The Great Lakes East Comprehensive Assistance Center serves the states of Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

Great Lakes West Comprehensive Assistance Center
The Great Lakes West Comprehensive Assistance Center serves the states of Illinois and Wisconsin.

Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center
The Mid-Atlantic Comprehensive Center (MACC) serves the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.

Mid-Continent Comprehensive Center
The Mid-Continent Comprehensive Center (MC3) serves the states of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.

New England Comprehensive Center
The New England Comprehensive Center (NECC) serves the states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

North Central Comprehensive Center
The North Central Comprehensive Center (NCCC) serves the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

Northwest Regional Comprehensive Center
The Northwest Regional Comprehensive Center (NWRCC) serves the states of Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming.

Pacific Comprehensive Center
The Pacific Comprehensive Center (PCC) serves the state of Hawaii, and American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia (Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap), Guam, Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau.

Southeast Comprehensive Center
The Southeast Comprehensive Center (SECC) serves the states of Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and South Carolina.

Southwest Comprehensive Center
The Southwest Comprehensive Center (SWCC) serves the states of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah.

Texas Comprehensive Center
