Regional Comprehensive Centers
Regional Centers provide frontline assistance to states to help them implement NCLB and related federal school improvement programs and increase state capacity to assist districts and schools meet their student achievement goals. Regional Centers are responsible for developing strong relationships and partnerships within their region. While Content Centers focus almost entirely on specific content areas, analyzing research, developing useful products and tools for Regional Centers, the Regional Centers focus on providing technical assistance to states, using Content Center research and materials to inform their work.
